How to add a second Telegram account
Telegram lets you keep three accounts in the same app (more on some clients). The only requirement is a number for each.

How do I create a second Telegram account on the same phone?
Open Settings, tap Add account, enter a temporary number from the catalog and type the 5-digit code from your dashboard. Set a two-step verification password for the new account. If you plan to log out and in again, rent the number instead of a single activation.
What people use the second account for
- Running channels and groups without exposing the personal profile.
- Bots and automation with a separate identity.
- Work contacts kept away from personal chats.
Keeping it
Telegram sessions last until you log out. Set the password, keep the session, and the account stays yours even after a one-time number is released. For peace of mind, rent the number for 30 days.

Frequently asked questions
Will Telegram ban the second account?
Not for existing. Spam behavior gets accounts limited or banned regardless of the number.
Can I use the second account on desktop?
Yes. Log in on Telegram Desktop with the number; confirm from the mobile session or by SMS.
Will the two accounts share contacts?
No. Each account has its own contacts and chats.
Is the second account untraceable?
It is private, not untraceable: SMS Nitro knows which account bought the number and cooperates with lawful requests.
