GrizzlySMS alternative
GrizzlySMS is known for a catalog of thousands of services in many languages. The question is not catalog size, it is whether the number you buy for your app and country actually receives the code.
Is SMS Nitro a good GrizzlySMS alternative?
Yes if you value seeing the recent success rate of each country before paying, a balance that is charged only on delivered SMS, and an API compatible with the tools you already use. GrizzlySMS has a larger catalog; SMS Nitro focuses on the apps and countries with verified prices and delivery.
What GrizzlySMS is
A marketplace with activations, rentals, a site in nine languages (including Portuguese and Spanish) and a blog aimed at search traffic. It serves a broad international audience and lists more than 2,300 services.
What SMS Nitro does differently
- Private numbers only, never shared inboxes.
- Price frozen at purchase, charged only when the SMS arrives; the number is reserved for 20 minutes.
- Live price and recent success rate per app and country before you confirm.
- Card and crypto top-ups from $5, balance that never expires, no subscription.
- REST API plus an SMS-Activate-compatible endpoint, so existing tools migrate by changing the key.
- Catalog written in each language from scratch, with a legal entity, refund policy and support behind it.
Moving from GrizzlySMS to SMS Nitro
Create an account, top up from $5 and compare the prices of the apps you use most. If you used GrizzlySMS through its API, the SMS-Activate-compatible endpoint lets most scripts run unchanged after you swap the base URL and the key. Numbers that receive no SMS are never charged, so testing a new provider costs nothing when it fails.

Frequently asked questions
Does SMS Nitro have as many services?
No. SMS Nitro lists the 700+ apps with verified prices and delivery through its carrier partners, rather than every service name ever seen.
