Verification code not arriving
Most codes arrive in under ten seconds. When one does not, the cause is almost always on the app's side, and almost always fixable.
What should I do if the verification code does not arrive?
Wait up to two minutes, then cancel the number so the amount returns to your balance. Take a new number from a country with a higher success rate for that app, or from the physical-SIM pool, and request the code only once. If the app says it sent the code but nothing arrives after a second try, the app is blocking the number range: change country.

Check the country code
The number must be entered with the dial code the app expects (+1, +44, +62…). Many apps select your current country by default.
Wait two minutes
Carrier delays happen. The number stays yours for 20 minutes; the dashboard refreshes alone.
Request once
Repeated 'resend' taps make some apps stop sending. Request, wait, then act.
Cancel and switch country
No SMS in two minutes? Cancel (not charged) and pick a country with a higher success rate for that app.
Try the physical-SIM pool
WhatsApp, Google, PayPal and banks reject many virtual ranges. Physical-SIM numbers pass.
Change your own setup
Some apps limit sign-ups per IP or device. A different network or a clean browser profile helps.
